The participants – the representatives of the Working groups on implementation of the Program “Support to transparent land management in Ukraine” – received information on the methodology of planning the use and protection of land in communities, the use of GIS technology for analysts and local and state authorities, the identification of mistakes in the inventory and possible ways to solve conflicts in such cases.

The information was provided by the representatives of the USAID Project Support for Agrarian and Rural Development, the Space Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the EOS Company and BlomInfo-Ukraine.

Participants noted that it is important for them to develop a methodology for eliminating errors in the inventory, the development of the necessary changes in legislation, and trainings on the use of GIS technologies.
